SAE Indonesia Training Center opens Corporate Training programs, Certified Courses, and Australia Pathway Programs in the field of creative media.

CORPORATE TRAINING
The creative media-certified courses offered by SAE Indonesia Training Center are specifically designed for companies that require training tailored to their schedules and modules to meet their needs. This program gives companies access to learning in creative media relevant to the industry, helping employees build skills and support business goals.

By participating in these courses, companies and their employees can master new skills in various areas of creative media or enhance existing skills. PATHWAY AUSTRALIA
The Pathway Program is a collaboration with SAE Institute universities where prospective students can undergo basic training at SAE Indonesia before continuing their studies to a Bachelor’s degree.

Pathway Film Australia

Overview

Are you a film enthusiast? Interested in becoming a world-class filmmaker? You can! Just enroll in the Pre-College (Foundation) Bachelor of Film Program. This program will help you from the ground up, providing you with technical knowledge and practical experience to prepare you for a career in the film industry.

You will be taught everything from the basics of filmmaking to the more challenging aspects of cinematography. You can choose the field that suits you best, whether it's in Production, focusing on directing, or in Post Production, where you'll hone your skills in editing, composing, and color grading.

Pathway Audio Australia

Overview

In the Pre-College (Foundation) Bachelor of Audio program at SAE, you can build the skills needed for a career in the audio industry. Apply your knowledge and skills in studio production, post-production, and live sound using industry-standard software and large-scale audio desks from industry giants like Neve, SSL, Audient, and others.

You will also learn various industry-standard software such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Ableton Live, and more.

Under the guidance of expert SAE instructors, you will be equipped with materials specifically designed for real-world application. With a unique teaching style, you will demonstrate your technical skills and knowledge in a creative and collaborative studio environment.

Live Sound Production

Overview

This course is for those wanting to pursue a sound production career. You will gain an in-depth understanding of sound theory and principles, acoustics, gain structure, and the equipment and components you will use. You will also receive comprehensive training on patching and using mixing desks, understanding EQ, Grouping and Routing, and how to use matrix and record live mixes.

Mixing & Mastering

Overview

In this course, you will learn the processes of mixing and mastering music compositions to the highest standards from instructors who are also practitioners in the industry. You will also gain knowledge with industry-standard equipment such as ProTools and Wavelab Software.

Studio Recording

Overview

The Studio Production course teaches the process of recording and music production within the scope of styles, forms, and creative methods.

You will be taught to describe genre and music style concepts, implement DAW ProTools in the production process (arranging and mixing) of musical performances, analyze acoustic session productions, apply session arrangement methods, demonstrate effective use of ProTools, describe the recording and mixing process, demonstrate signal flow in multi-track recorders and music production, and apply features and functions of common recording equipment.

Sound System Design & Optimization with SMAART

Overview

Participants in this class will learn a variety of advanced techniques to master the optimization of SMAART software, along with the practical skills needed to excel in various careers in the audio field.

Electronic Music Production

Overview

The Electronic Music Production (EMP) course will help you develop your skills and apply creative principles in composing or producing your compositions to professional standards, such as:

- Editing
- Sampling
- Sequencing
- Arrangement
- Production techniques
- Synthesis
- MIDI theory
- Digital audio workstation operation
- Performance
- Copyright

Upon completing this course, you will receive the SAE Certificate in Electronic Music Production, produce your own Mini-Album (EP), and design your live performance (Live PA).

Live Performance with Ableton Live

Overview

Although this class focuses on live performance, you will learn a great deal about the ins and outs of career opportunities in the audio performance world. In this class, participants don’t need to have a comprehensive understanding of the Ableton Live digital audio workstation (DAW) but should be able to grasp the general principles of DAWs.

Sound Design & Synthesis with Ableton Live

Overview

You will learn the basics of sound synthesis and sound sampling, and apply these principles across various platforms. You will also explore the depths of Analog, Wavetable, Operator, and the latest similar synthesizers such as Melda and Meld. Additionally, discover the transformative power of Roar effects and apply these skills universally across all synthesizers.

Short Film Production

Overview

In this course, you will be taught the basic techniques of filmmaking. Starting from writing your own screenplay, learning the basics of camera, lens, lighting, and audio recording equipment using state-of-the-art equipment and software from the film industry. You will also deepen and apply editing theories.

Cinematography

Overview

You will learn:

• Styles and directing techniques in contemporary film and television.
• Styles, aesthetics, and techniques across various genres and their distinctive characteristics.
• Composition, movement, and framing.
• Camera maintenance.
• Film stock and its relationship with labs/transfer houses and cinematographers.

The course consists of face-to-face meetings, group discussions, in-class presentations, watching contemporary films, shooting, and project reviews.

Video Editing

Overview

An Editor plays a key role in the filmmaking process and industry. Not limited to the film industry, they also work in various media fields such as news broadcasts, documentaries, television, and web series.

In this video editing course, you will be taught editing theory and basic digital editing techniques. You will also gain hands-on experience editing various projects from prepared footage, using Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, and DaVinci Resolve. This footage includes: music videos, trailers, short documentaries, and brief narrative scenes.

The course schedule consists of 3 hours in class and 3 hours in the lab. Learning in the lab is part of the schedule, and you can practice the theories taught in class.

Scriptwriting

Overview

This course will provide you with intensive education on the theory and practice of writing short film scripts needed to become a knowledgeable and savvy writer. The course will run for 16 sessions.

Acting for Film

Overview

This class will cover the stages an actor goes through, including imagination development, emotional control, physical expressiveness, vocal projection, speech proficiency, and the ability to interpret scripts. By participating in this acting class, participants are expected to develop self-awareness and subsequently be able to study the art of acting effectively and apply it in the film industry.

Digital Imaging & Graphic Design

Overview

This course introduces aesthetics and techniques in the visual communication industry. You will learn digital imaging using Adobe Photoshop and vector graphics using Adobe Illustrator. Equipment and software will be provided during the course, including Wacom drawing tablets from SAE.

Motion Graphics

Overview

Motion Graphics is a versatile field in the creative industry as it can be applied in various sectors such as design, advertising, multimedia, animation, games, and film. These industries require many motion designers.

Through this course, you will be taught the basics of Motion Graphics and work on projects such as typography and basic character animation using Adobe After Effects software.

Additionally, you will also have the opportunity to learn software used by instructors in their daily work. This means you will receive useful tips about industry-standard software.

3D Visual with Blender

Overview

Participants in this class will learn a range of techniques in advanced design processing for developing skills in creating interior, exterior, and motion graphic designs using a single application: Blender.

Music Promotion & Marketing

Overview

The music industry has undergone drastic changes in recent years. Therefore, the ability to market music is crucial for artist managers, label owners, and musicians in the digital era. This course not only teaches you how to market your music but also how to enhance that marketing.

The Music Promotion and Marketing course will help you sharpen the skills needed in the field of music marketing, especially in the digital age. You will learn the main reasons for marketing music, as well as how to execute music marketing campaigns and common and reliable techniques in the related field.

FAQ

The course will be conducted in person (offline) at SAE Indonesia campus with a pre-determined class schedule.

Participants must attend at least 80% of the total program and submit assignments at the end of the course.

Equipment and supporting software during the program will be provided by the SAE campus. Get complete information on each course detail.

The duration, days, and hours have been predetermined and vary for each course. Most classes are held twice a week, and each session will last for 180 minutes.

There will be no makeup sessions.

The confirmed class schedule will be sent no later than 1 day through an email before the class starts.

The certificate will be issued no later than two weeks from the last day of class.
