Short Course
Introduction to Resolume

The course is designed to explore and produce aesthetics and techniques in the visual communication industry. This short course is prepared and designated for individuals who are interested in entering the graphic design industry and also active present professionals from similar or distinctive fields, who are willing to explore their creative skills to be applied to their relevant area.

Motion Graphics is a versatile skill in the creative industries, that can be applied to a range of sectors such as such as design, advertising, multimedia, animation, games or film. The industry is demanding more and more motion designers.

Our course is designed to teach the fundamentals of Motion Graphics. You’ll get hands on with the industry standard software Adobe After Effects working on projects such as typography and basic character animation to develop your skills.

You’ll be taught by industry professionals using the tool in their day to day job roles, meaning you’ll learn real life tips on the software and to industry standard.

Basic graphic design skills is REQUIRED to enter this course.

LECTURER
Tommy Givani

An experienced VJ and Technical Director with expertise in visual technology and live performance. He has been the VJ host for the Djakarta Warehouse Project (2011–2022) and expert in Resolume as well as visual systems for concerts, festivals, and clubs.

Develop skills in industry-standard software packages Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effect, and Adobe XD.
Practical, immersive training All work is project-based.
Fundamentals of motion graphics Develop skills in digital visual effect, image-making, typography, visual communication, user experience and digital design.
